Awesome New Post This video is an artistic take on how the story of the nativity might have read had a social network existed at the time of Jesus’s birth. Follow this historical period as it unfolds as a digital narrative. This vignette is great for highlighting the truths and circumstances of our Savior’s birth in a fresh, unique way.

We were asked to create the opening titles for the Social Media Awards Ceremony in Greece. The brief was to create an opening video that will showcase the major award categories, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Foursquare and Pinterest.
Inspired by the event’s theme for the year, we decided to make a story that felt like a fairy tale and tried to create emotion to the audience using techniques found in classic puppet theater.

Have You Seen …? New Post A poetic short film by Max Stossel & Sander van Dijk:
In the Attention Economy, technology and media are designed to maximize our screen-time. But what if they were designed to help us live by our values? www.timewellspent.io
What if news & media companies were creating content that enriched our lives, vs. catering to our most base instincts for clicks?
What if social platforms were designed to help us create our ideal social lives, instead of to maximize time-on site and “likes”?
What if dating apps measured their success in how well they helped us find what we’re looking for instead of in # of swipes?
As technology gets more and more engaging, and as AI and VR become more and more prevalent in our day-to-day lives we need to take a look at how we’re structuring our future.

Awesome New Post „Get in Contact” is a conceptual approach, enhancing face to face communication by adding digital information about us around us via smartphone and AR glasses. Giving people an idea about who we are and what we want to share. A starting point for all sorts of social interaction.
Besides input and computing device for the glasses, the smartphone also serves as an ID for the user carrying it around. Users should be able to rely solely on the information projected on the glasses, to keep the focus on the people instead on their information, which if too complex can be checked on the smartphone itself.
One main feature of “Get in Contact” is the status message, social networks like facebook made popular and frequently used. Short informative updates about ourselves, asking for reactions by others, floating above the users’ heads.
Even people who managed to stay away from social networking sites and prefer regular social interactions could benefit from this kind of system, cause in the end it’s more about getting to know the people around us instead of collecting profiles in the web.
